These are hot long days, dusty blasted deserts
All surround high houses that sit so empty
Save for carpets, curtains and fitted kitchens
And the gardens green outside with flowers
Well illustrate man mockery of nature & her majesty.
So then, everybody breaks the rules, and if
In California soil beat brown by golden glare
Green grasses grow, and if in parched earth
Made pleasent by the Gardiners toil, bright flowers bloom
And if in hells harsest oven, wind stripped
Sun burnt, dry dead and more a man may live
Just so a man may change his ways and live
Unbuckle the burden of the boredom carried far
To unlease all the passions and fury bound by home
So we must work; i feel the strain to well
These weak muscles tested till they scream
And i may my head upon a stone and sleep
But for the crytstals coursing through my viens
